Located in the heart of Colombo, Upali’s was established in 2013 to offer simply Sri Lankan cuisine with a vision of bringing together families and friends, making them feel at home away from home. For Mr Upali Dharmadasa, our founder, the restaurant is very much a labour of love and cooking is his passion. The premises used to be his family home and everyone who comes in is reminded of this as they pass the portraits of Mr Upali’s parents, the illustrious H K Dharmadasa and his wife Meelin.
